WHO ARE WE?

The Social Choir is a beachside community in Manly and Coogee where music meets connection. We bring people together through feel-good group singing sessions, pop-up performances, and social events. Whether you're a shower singer or a stage veteran, there's a place for you at The Social Choir. With a live band and mics, our choir director will create harmonies and arrangements in the room on the spot to cater to the group in the room. Each session involves discussion about inspirations, highlights of the week and thought-provoking questions designed for connection and reflection.

HOW DO I JOIN THE SOCIAL CHOIR?

1. Book a pack on our website. You can pay for 5 or 10 that is valid for a term.

2. Attend your chosen choir location

WHERE IS THE SOCIAL CHOIR BASED?

We're based in Manly and Coogee with weekly sessions.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

No prep needed—just wear comfy clothes, bring water and a phone/tablet for lyrics, and come ready to have fun. We provide all the guidance you’ll need.

I’M NOT A CONFIDENT SINGER—CAN I STILL JOIN?

Absolutely. The Social Choir is about a good time.
You don’t need any experience, just come have some fun.​

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?

The Social Choir is for adults of all ages. Whether you’re 18 or 80, you’re welcome in our community.
The Social (Youth) Choir is for those 17 and under.

WHAT IF I CAN’T MAKE IT TO A SESSION?

No worries. Just let us know with 24 hours to reschedule.
Life happens—we’ll do our best to keep you in the loop and caught up.

DO I HAVE TO PERFORM?

Not at all! Performing is completely optional, though many members end up loving the buzz of singing on stage once they give it a go.

HOW DO I PAY?

For The Social Choir, packages of 5 or 10 sessions available for a term.
